Fair Housing & Equal Opportunity.
Mopper Property Management is an Equal Housing Opportunity provider. We do business in accordance with the Federal Fair Housing Act and all applicable state and local fair housing laws.
Equal Housing Opportunity
The Equal Housing Opportunity logo you see on our materials is the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) compliance seal affirming our adherence to the Fair Housing Act of 1968. “Fair Housing” and “Equal Housing Opportunity” describe the same commitment: every prospective resident is evaluated on the same objective criteria, and no one is denied housing or treated differently because of who they are.
Protected classes
It is illegal to discriminate against any person in the rental of housing because of:
- Race
- Color
- Religion
- Sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation)
- Handicap (disability)
- Familial status (including children under 18 living with parents or legal guardians, and pregnant women)
- National origin
We also comply with the Georgia Fair Housing Law and any additional state or local protected classes that apply to the property.
Resident screening
All applicants are evaluated using the same written criteria covering income, credit, rental history, criminal history (as permitted by law), and identity verification. We do not consider any protected characteristic in the screening process.
Reasonable accommodations & modifications
Residents and applicants with disabilities may request a reasonable accommodation (a change in rules, policies, or services) or a reasonable modification (a structural change to the unit or common areas) when needed to fully use and enjoy the housing. Submit requests in writing to cara@mopperpm.com.
Assistance animals
Service animals and emotional support animals are not pets. They are not subject to pet fees, pet deposits, or breed/weight restrictions. Verification may be requested for non-obvious disabilities consistent with HUD guidance.
