Thunderbolt

Thunderbolt is its own incorporated town on the Wilmington River, just east of Savannah. A working shrimp fleet still ties up at the docks, the riverside walk runs past Tubby's Tank House and Desposito's, and homes mix historic riverside cottages with mid-century ranches and newer townhomes.

Thunderbolt Elementary anchors the residential side of town, and downtown Savannah is a 10-minute drive away.
